Adobe released a beta version of Flash Player 10

A public beta version of Adobe Flash Player 10, known as code-named Astro. Tenth Flash Player version contains many improvements, including support for custom filters and effects, additional opportunities to work with 3D-elements, advanced funds to work with the text and support through hardware acceleration capabilities of modern graphics adapters.
For the first time, developers were able to create custom filters and effects for Adobe Flash Player 10, using a free set of tools Adobe Pixel Bender, who is also available online Adobe Labs.
